In November 2011, Butler along with Estella Warren began shooting the thriller based on psychological research The Stranger Within in Mallorca the Spanish island of Mallorca. Alongside New York City and Copenhagen The film was set for filming in Copenhagen Denmark. She also joined the cast of Treachery which starred Michael Biehn. The independent feature film was filmed in Los Angeles in early 2012. Butler played featured in The Demented (2013), produced by Michael Welch with Kayla and Michael Welch.
